Run the 2013 ODDyssey Half Marathon
Welcome to the online home of the ODDyssey Half Marathon - a race brought to you by runners for runners.
We're back! In its fourth year, the ODDyssey Half Marathon has pumped itself up and we want you! Whether it's your first or hundredth half marathon the ODDyssey has something unique to offer.
Last year we had over 2,000 participants spanning 31 states and 3 countries!
The ODDyssey remembers that running is fun. Though a serious endurance race, this half marathon is coupled with optional twists and turns throughout the course for runners who want to have a little fun. The race includes costume contests and unique challenges to make it a race you will never forget, but don't forget, we also have a hefty prize package for winners, the Jaguar Chip Timing System, professional photographers and a USATF certified race course.
The course is truly unique and takes in the beauty of Fairmount Park; beginning on the Memorial Hall Green and winding around the tranquil Belmont Plateau before touring the stunning Schuylkill River along West River Drive. Runners will finish back at Memorial Hall for a post race bash.
The ODDyssey is also perfectly timed with the Broad Street Run. If you are training for the Broad Street Run, just keep your training going for three more weeks and conquer a half marathon this spring.
Come out and celebrate your victory at the Broad Street Run with the ODDyssey Half Marathon. We will be celebrating with one free beer at McFaddens Ballpark! McFadden’s is located just a short walk from the Finish Line in Citizen’s Bank Park. Toast your victory and mingle with other runners! You will also be able to order lunch. (You know you will have earned it).
