Support the Runners on Race Day!
Calling all volunteers! The ODDyssey needs your help on race day!
The ODDyssey Half Marathon is seeking volunteers for a variety of positions for the 2012 race. Come out and join the Students Run Philly Style volunteer corps as they direct runners through picturesque Fairmount Park and around the beautiful and histrorical Schuylkill River Loop.
There is a role for everyone! With 3,000 to 3,500 runners expected on race day we need your help. Volunteers are needed as:
- Course marshals to monitor the the entire 13.1 mile course.
- Water stations attendants to keep runners hydrated by filling, distributing and cleaning up cups at each or 10 stations.
- Finish line hosts/hostesses to distribute finisher gifts and post-race refreshments.
- Expo marshalls to get the runners through registration and packet pick up.
If you like to have a good time and want to support some fun and dedicated athletes, we need you. Volunteers are also needed for the expo.

Volunteer Guidelines
- You are responsible for all backpacks, cameras, or other valuables with you on your assignment. The race is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Volunteers must follow a strict "No Smoking" and "No Alcohol" policy.
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old or accompanied by a responsible adult.
